really liked it
bookshelves: books-i-wanted-to-love-but-couldn-t

you know, i LOVE neil gaiman's work while i'm reading it, but, afterwards, i can never remember anything about what i just read. his stuff is like the really, really good chinese food of writing. tasty and delicious, but ... an hour later, you don't feel like you've eaten anything? i do not know why this is. i've read everything he's ever written, and i can't recall a single character, story, or plotline outside of the endless.

Tracie I thought it was me. I'm so happy to know that it's not, because I completely agree. Somehow I think it's a good thing, as I'm able to read his books again and feel like it's new.

It's like Groundhog Day.

lowercase yes! exactly. i love him. but i'm not sure i remember why.
