really liked it
bookshelves: 2009
Read in September, 2009

This is one of the few cases where I saw the movie before reading the book and it was an interesting experience. I wish I could have read the book not knowing what the twist was, but knowing how it would end made me pick up on a lot of things I think I would have missed otherwise. This book was dark and disturbing, but I really liked it.

Kim Aren't you the one who said I ruined some holiday by making you watch this movie? Or was that Katie?

Becky Hahaha. I thought it was Rachel who ruined Christmas by making us watch Fight Club. (Not that it was a bad movie, it just doesn't really bring out the holiday spirit.) Rachel, is it right that it was you? It's an interesting book so far, I don't think it will ruin Labor Day.

Katie I also think it was Rachel that ruined Christmas, if I recall.

Kim Darn, I wish I could take credit.

At least this takes the spotlight off of me for the smelly goat chesse fiasco. And to set the record straight - it was Rachel who ruined Christmas that year.
