** spoiler alert ** Moab is the autobiography of Stephen Fry, the openly gay English actor, writer, and intellectual. He is perhaps best known for his role as Oscar Wilde in the biopic "Wilde" and as Jeeves opposite Hugh Laurie as Bertie Wooster in the PBS series "Jeeves and Wooster". Here Fry details his life from birth to the early years of his study at Oxford. He describes a life both beautiful and painful as a closeted boy with an unrequited teenage love at a boys' boarding school. After being thrown out of boarding schools, being arrested for credit card fraud, and after experimenting with drugs, Fry attempted to take his own life. After a hospitalization, he was able to recover and embrace his life. [He now has a solid career and a long-term life-partner.:] Brilliant and unflinching. Highly recommended.
