Was it everything I wanted it to be? Was I satisfied with the book?
For all of those who know me and have been following my reviews, you know this series is my top fav and an absolute obsession! I have read so many books, specially paranormal and UF! And this is still my fav of them all. I have adored this series since book 1. I'm ashamed to admit I was terrified I wouldn't like this book for several reasons, specially because Barrons could not be much in it.I don't wanna write any spoilers so all I can say is that this book was everything I wanted it to be, but what I liked the most was that it kept real to what the other books had been. There was not a freaking lame ending, things ended just exactly how they had to. What I adored the most about this series was the way the books were written, KMM has such an amazing and unique style and you just can't help to love it. Now that I am finally done with the series I can say it is still my top fav and I adored every page in every book. For all of those who have been waiting for book 5 to get released before starting the series, start right away because you're gonna adore it.
Am I sad because it's over?
Hell yeah, but at the same time I love an author who knows when to finish a series. I hate when series go on and on and you know they should have finished so many books ago. This was the perfect ending and KMM did it with style, she created a piece of art. This series is just too good to be true, she created a new world because it's so much more than books!

Yes the ending is a big shocker!!!!By what MAC feeling in the on of book 4 ...it feels like it Barrons at the end with her....
I think that creature has "something " to do with Barrons...but.... I dont know!!!
We still dont know what Barrons really is!
All I know is that MAC and Barrons better end up HEA in book 5....

I know the Author wouldn't kill him because he's the hero, but I can't imagine anyone else Mac would be that sad to loose... What do you think?
Im acually in denial...I want to say yes it was him...and somehow he will come back to MAC.but ...i dont want it to be Barrons!!!

I want him to be someone else... but I don't know noone else who Mac would feel that sad for...I don't think it's christian, she doesn't know him that well...
And we do know he's male...

Hi Vale,What did you think of the ending? Was it as bad as Faefever? I DON'T think Barrons is dead...I think the creature probably does have something to do with him (the beast under the garage that could be Barron's anger???), but I absolutely don't believe it is Barrons himself. KMM has said that Mac with get her HEA, but it might not be in the world she is currently living in (I hope I am not misphrasing her comment). Barrons is part of her HEA (I believe it) so I will be excited to see how the series ends. What does everyone else think???
I am definately not as frustrated as I was with Faefever ending... I just don't like cliff hangers, but I don't hate them. I think that bthis is what makes this series so good, not knowing what will happen.
And I am a bit calm because I am sure she will not kill Barrons, I mean, It will be like killing Mac.
I can't wait... but it will be a long wait... LOL

What? really? December? That is so wrong! I need to know what happened to Barrons. He is one of my fave heroes of all the series. What r we going to do? LOL
We are going to have to find a series to love before Shadowfever comes out! LOL!!! I am excited for the next Kerrelyn Sparks book that will be released in March so that will be fun!
I really liked that series. There are so many good books out there.I am kinda of getting addicted. I can't seem to stop reading. Seriously. It's like every second I have free I spend it reading.
I know exactly what you mean! It is hard to stop reading when you have found a really, really, really good book! This is why I have been saving the Hathaway books because I know I will just want to read them all at once and I need time to do it!
Good luck with that. LOL. Although in my opinion the wallflowers series was much better, but the hathaways is really, really good too.
I can't even breath fine,lol. I can't believe the cover is actually out. And I can't believe I'm this excited about a cover and a summary,lol.I never thought I would be some of those who get crazy excited about a book, I guess I was wrong because I can't stop thinking about it right now.

I knew I could get it whenever I wanted because of my kindle, my actual problem was to find time to read it, now I will have to stop every now and then but at least I'm reading it. AND LOVING IT!
Time seems like that is always the hardest for everyone when it comes to reading! I know I am not going to want to stop once I get started with Shadowfever...especially if each chapter ends on a cliffhanger...Yikes!
I was so busy this week Iam surprised I found time to read it. But OMG. It is soooo good and I will be done soon...NOO!!! I don't want it to end, but OMFG. IT IS SOOOOOOO GOOD! XD
hahaha, thanks girl! I loved the book. Did you? I still feel there's no way to put everything you felt with the book in a single review. There are not enough words to let others know how much you love it!! I adored this series and I'm definitely gonna miss it!
I knoe. There is no way I can write a review that could express how perfect Shadowfever is, and yes! I loved every single moment. I heard that quite a few people liked it but were disappointed in some things, but I wasn't. I just wanted more and more and more. But KMM ended it well.I was so surprised to find out who dreamy-eyed guy was. I was like huh OMG! So many things I went OMG adn WTF!? I had questions at the end of each chapter that made me go insane like I was in my own cliffhanger world...haha. Fever has got to be my all-time favorite series!
I will now be going crazy for the spin off series which will not be coming out for a while. I want me some Christian! XD

Yeah, I totally agree with you Vale. I was also afraid that I would not like the last book in the series as in other series(e.g Twilight) I have read but I loved it. Even till the end the book keeps you on the edge making you think 'How did that happen?'. It explains everything that we wondered about but still there were a few questions which were left unanswered.I am hoping that they will be in the spin-off series and we get some more Barrons. No matter how much you get its not enough.Its never enough.I think I sound like some obsessed stalker.sigh.Barrons does that to you.

Couldn't have said it better myself...it was perfect...and not on a cheesy expected way. I too was so afraid id hate this book for the same reason you were...but it was amazing...more so than I even thought it might be. Loved it!
I'm sad its over too, but with KMM, you just never know I wouldn't be suprised at all if they showed up again in another book, that is so her style!
I wouldn't mind more books in this series! I man wouldn't it be awesome to see a book with Mac and Barrons actually together and in love?? **sigh** A girl can dream!!!***
Yup, I totally agree with you Vale. I generally don't like spin offs( I am not going to read Bloodlines) but this time I will make an exception. Only for Barrons. P.S: I like your idea for a club Barrons Stalker. It will be fun.Maybe have it as a mini group within Moning Maniacs.
i think that part 1 was a little long. the inner reflection upon how she was changed and unfeeling. a little too much of that. the rest was great
Lady Vale, I loved your review... I am on page 185 so far...liking it so far but can't understand why KMM keeps switching up her writing style...going from present tense to past tense and back again...really confusing.

I loved this series. So good.
I am pretty sure Barrons wasn't the one of the ending...
And for those who are thinking of reading them, but don't wanna begin until the last book comes out: DON'T. You'll be loosing too much. I loved this series and would re-read it if I had to, gladly.
