This is one of those books that if you weren't already paranoid, you would be after reading it. While not a true crime novel, Deaver does his research and the information he uses to construct his plots is spot on. This does not make me feel better after reading 414 pages about data mining. If it weren't for those great deals on, I'd be off the grid in a heartbeat. (Yes, I'm's AND fanfic that has me hooked.)

The plot was very intriguing. It differed from his normal pattern in that there weren't major twists and was more like gentle curves in the road. My only real complaint with this one is the reveal of the perp, who we followed through the book, and his identity as the characters know him. It was quite anti-climactic. XXXXX just blurts out he is XXXXX.
