it was amazing

This is the most unique book I've read in quite awhile. Yes, it's a British mystery, of which I'm most fond. But unlike others, the main character suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder after serving as a British soldier in WWI. He manifest his PTS through Hamish, the voice of a soldier who died on his watch during the war. He talks to Hamish and hears Hamish as he struggles to return to life at Scotland Yard and some sense of normalcy. I highly recommend all the books in the Det. Ian Rutledge series by Charles Todd.
