Widely considered to be one of Agatha Christie's finest mysteries due to the twist ending. Appropriate for middle school readers, too, although some of the vocabulary is difficult. Although I originally read this book during the summer of 2003, I recently reread it before helping to facilitate a parent-child book club meeting at my middle school. I had forgotten that there were a few anti-Semitic references and uses of the "n" word (even in the "sanitized" versions about "ten little Indians" or "ten little soldiers").
