And it's good work -- we get another solar-system scale battle, complete with all manner of naval trickery worthy of Jack Aubrey. Two major plot points -- which I'm sure will have a big impact later on in the series -- continue to develop, demonstrating that while the Alliance/Syndic war is a big deal, there may be much larger issues to deal with in the not to distant future.
