This is about how the minimum wage is just that. The minimum that you can pay people and still keep them coming back to work. And how poorly the people who make up the largest part of the workforce in America can be treated by their employers. As a former grocery store clerk and popcorn slinger at a movie theater, I really appreciate the fact that she did this experiment. I worked those jobs after school for spending cash, not as a living like many of my coworkers. It was truly hard for them, and more people should be aware of that. Class warriors unite!!!
