A very interesting take on life in one African tribe and the coming of the Christian/colonizing government from the perspective of one successful warrior in the tribe.

I would like this even better if the book (or at least my edition) discussed how much of tribal life as described was true, whether the author's family had come from this tribe, if it's an amalgamation of many tribes, or if it is just pure fiction (which I highly doubt).
