Miranda is looking forward to the end of the school year. Everyone is making a big deal about this meteor that is going to hit the moon but Miranda just sees it as another excuse for more homework. The night of this astonishing event her family grills out and the whole neighborhood gathers in the street to watch. They can just barely see the meteor hit the moon, but Miranda notices something strange; the moon seems to be getting bigger and bigger. The meteor has pushed the moon closer to the earth and changed everything, the tides, the weather, earthquakes, volcanoes. Will Miranda's family survive?
