Michaels' writing totally blew my mind. This story is in turns sensual, heartwrenching, and so vividly real. Michaels is in my opinion a true master wordsmith -- not only did I fall in love with the lead characters, their flaws and foibles, but I cared about what happened to them almost before they finished introducing themselves in the beginning of the story.

I actually got choked up and teared up, in turns, throughout the rest of the story.

One of the best romances I have ever read, hands down. Never mind the m/m subgenre. This is one romance that speaks to the genderless boundaries of love.
