Another great installment in this series. Loved the action, and the build up for the final book.

I wasn't too impressed with Rachel's character. While being extremely useful and quirky I just don't really like her to much. Nico has gotten much more interesting and his powers seem to be pretty impressive. I wish Percy would seem a bit more his age though. To me he is still acting like he is 12 and not about to be 15. I am sure we will definitely see his maturity though in the final book when the war begins.

My favorite part was the last scene with Poseidon. Finally, one of the God's seems to think they should interact directly with their children. I get that its a busy time and all with everyone's impending doom and whatnot but that's no excuse for the past. It makes it a lot easier to understand the half bloods side that are against Olympus.

Can't wait to read the last book!
