    <body><![CDATA[My first Chabon novel. It took me right into a world I have absolutely no familiarity with and made me comfortable in it. A complex mix of comedy, tragedy, and conspiracy theory. He paints vibrant characters, made me crave pickles and pie, and was charmingly entertaining for a few days -- I was engrossed enough I had a hard time putting it down.]]></body>
