Wow... a lot of stuff happens in this book, and most of it totally unexpected!

Opal, the glass magician, is trying to find Ulrick, who may or may not have traded bodies with an enemy of hers through an illegal blood magic ceremony. To complicate matters, Opal is avoiding a summons to the Council herself because of her strange new ability to steal magic.

The plot is twisty and complicated, and the body-changing plot sometimes had me wondering. But I love this series - almost as much as its companion series (Poison Study / Magic Study / Fire Study). Not sure if there's more to come, particularly since the ending changed the game for Opal completely. But I hope so!
