I liked this book much better than the last mostly because there wasn't so much of the history and how the world works to set up. Megan is back and trying to settle into her role and ruler of her demons, something she isn't real comfortable doing. She is forced to take a more active role and someone is killing them off. As she investigates she runs into someone trying to kill and discredit her. Greyson does his best to help, but he has problems of his own. They get into their first fight when Megan receives bad news and being a pissed off woman deals with it on her own even when she would rather have him comfort her. As always Greyson finds out and does his best to help her. As she deals with her bad news she discovers the reason the Accuser was able to get to her in the first place betrayed by people who should never betray you. In the end Megan realizes that they people who you can depend on aren't always who you think they should be, but the ones who come to you are more priceless than anything.
