Library book club assignment.

Finished now. Originally gave it three stars but then deducted one for roman à clef of a living person, i.e., Laura Bush.

The book is well constructed, and I don't agree with reviewers who criticize the last chapter (in the White House), after lauding all the others. However I find the writing somewhat flat for a first person account, it might have read better in third person.

(And I will forever wonder whether George Bush is afraid of the dark ...)
