This is the third Eve Dallas book. This book introduces Leonardo has a love interest for Mavis. In this book Eve is trying to prepare herself for marrying Rourke, she has to arrest her dearest friend, and her nightmares make her remember the night she was found. This is an emotional ride through all levels of the city. She is working science, which makes her cranky, interviewing famous actors and learning more about fashion than she wanted to know. She tries to come to terms with her past and Rourke refuses to let her go through it by herself. There are a lot of twists and turn in the story, Peabody becomes a fixture, and the surprises made me like this book even more. The book ends with her solving her cases and walking down the aisle to marry Rourke. I recommend to any that like her books.
