June 2011: Better the second time. Love it when that happens.

December 2009: This book has everything: love, death, war, history, philosophy, beer, water, England, babies, eels, rivers, Revolutions, kidnapping, sex, murder, and even incest . . . everything except a happy ending.

Jason , etc. Based on this and the book's description, I think you need to run, not walk, to and find Edward Rutherford's London.

Ashley I've read almost all the Rutherfords. I haven't read London yet, though. Or New York or Russka. This is better than those.
