Anne I appreciate that you don't love the "classics" that we were taught that we needed to enjoy or be literary dolts. Many of the classics seem like depressing stories with questionable morals.

I agree, and I had to read a lot of them in my major.
As a teacher, I decided I would only teach those things I really loved and enjoyed.
