I think I saw the movie. Was this written to be a movie. It was good, but more spare than Crais's usual work. A hostage negotiator, Jeff Talley (Bruce Willis)breaks from the stress of his job and the human cost. He takes a job as police chief in a small town and guess what? he has an extremely dangerous hostage situation. The situation is complicated by the fact that the owner of the hostage house is an accountant for the mob. The mob fears that their financial records will be discovered by the FBI.
