There's nothing in this memoir that knocks it out of the park except the title. Good storytelling, consistently engaging, relatively light-hearted stuff. I do wish it had gone a little deeper into the disability rights work the author alludes to, and that it had even flirted with theory or serious history on the matter, but the personal viewpoint this book happens to stick to is an interesting one, so I won't complain too loudly.
