this book is about a boy who lives in africa near where their is war. he goes and travels to his relatives town. while he is over there he runs into the rebels that have distroyed his home town. they recruit him and they make him kill. while he is all brainwashed a group called unicef comes and captures him. they rehabilitate him and put him in a school and he is then a normal kid again.
text to text
in the move blood dimond the same transaction occurs. a kid is captured from his home town and they drug him up. then they make him one of the rebels. but then a group comes and rescues him. and he is rehabilitated and eventually put in a school.
i gave this book 1 star because i thought it was really boring. the writer was really too descriptive. i would reccomend this book to nobody because of the boredom it brung to me.

Danielle too descriptive?? try reading anything by Jules Vern. Ha! too descriptive, it was not at any time boring or over detailed. How could you read this book and not be affected by it in any way other than being resentful for reading it.
