Menu for Romance is a great read for a hopeless romantic like myself. As Meredith struggles to understand the purpose God has for her life she also struggles with a long time crush on her co-worker Major. Finally determined to not be alone the next New Years, she prays that God will help her get over her crush and be open to whoever may come into her life. Major, is struggling with wanting to open his own restaurant, while dealing with the issue of having schizophrenic mother. When things seem to finally be working out, his mother suffers a bad spell and he places a great deal of blame for his life not being the way he wanted. It's not until an accident nearly takes his life that he understands all that his mother gave for him, and that he too has feelings for Meredith.
The only downside to the book is that there were several references to the story from the previous book in the series (which I haven't read YET) but outside of that, I recommend it to anyone who enjoys inspirational romances.
