Normally I don't like science fiction novels with a hardcore "science" emphasis (real or fake). But this one grabbed me right from the start. I guess it all boils down to the story. If it's a page-turner (like this one), then I'm hooked. But just be forewarned: there's a lot of science in this book. A lot.
