It's so hard to explain anything about this book. The story and the writing were at times harsh, trippy, and endearing. It had irresistible words like perhapsitron and shithenge, but it still had so much heart.

One of my favorite passages: "Maybe I could find that state of bliss again. Maybe I could stay here, follow all the rules, be safe always. But as soon as the thought enter my mind, another one swims in and eats the first one like a shark. Fuck that, it burps."

I love that Cameron Smith ends up making all the hard choices and I love that Libba Bray gives the idea of "random" a wonky but lovely reality.

Is this confusing? I know! Just go read the book.
