I enjoyed this quite a bit. I had read one of her short stories in Harpers last month, and I really like her style. It's different, and I think a bit in vogue with a certain crowd, but she does it really really well. The story is strange (but not nearly as strange as the jacket cover suggested), funny, and frustrating. It's about three people misunderstanding each other, two of which (husband and wife) have not fully disclosed themselves to each other. What they have left unsaid comes back with a vengeance through small and large arguments. It's a real interesting portrait of the fear of human beings for one another.
