Really promising beginning and first half. The end was wrapped up waaaay too neatly. I felt like I was reading a Scooby Doo episode.

Jake was pretty hot/sweet, and Clare wasn't bad, but their whole romance was cut and dried. Nothing too fabulous.

Also, I kept waiting for the bad guy to be Elizabeth, just because she was so sweet and perfect, but no, it was way boring. Basically that whole family turned out perfect. I must have missed it somewhere, but where was the son Matt in all this?!
