it was amazing
bookshelves: teacher-stuff

This book could change how you teach reading, and it's not just for English Teachers. Gallagher looks at why kids don't read, and how teachers inadvertently contribute. He also offers specific solutions for the big picture (philosophy and pedagogy and the little one (specific classroom strategies). This book is sure to provoke much needed discussions amongst academic professionals.
