it was amazing

A very cute book, but serious in its own ways. A few very sad scenes in the middle end, but mostly light hearted.

I read it mostly to help in teaching myself french. I was particularly surprised with how easy it was to read even as a bit of a novice. Excellent for this purpose due to little variation in grammar and lack of "big words." But it doesn't take away from the story at all, which was itself an absolute delight.

My only complaint is that the handwriting made it a bit difficult for me, as a novice in french, to read the words once in a while. I'd highly reccomend it to anyone interested in France, the Mahgreb Judaism, or fun.
