Read in November, 2009, read count: 1

This is the third book in the Booktown Mystery series. I really enjoyed reading this book and the characters are building as the series goes on. What I particularly liked was that this book had a little more substance than most cozies have. The storyline brings in quite a lot of information about freegans (dumpster divers) and how it isn't just homeless people who eat salvaged food out of garbage cans. I had recently read a long article about this subculture (as it was called) and was pleased to see an author that presented it in a very sensitive way and wove it into the story quite well. I would highly recommend this series. Of course, as a booklover, how could you not love a book set in a bookstore in a town of bookstores.

I am also looking forward to book four "Chapter and Hearse". There is a preview in the back of Bookplate Special.
