really liked it

I just finished reading this book and loved it. found it on my mother in law's bookshelf and she loaned it to me. Tsukiyama is a beautiful writer - I love her words and how she portrays a scene and character. I felt as if I was right there with Stephen. And I found myself being calmed by her words as I imagined myself down by the sea, up in the little mountain town where Sachi lives, and in Matsu's garden. She creates a magical place in this book. I think I will be re-reading this book for years to come.
