I liked this book less than the first two of the series. The writing style was actually better (or maybe I'm just used to it by now), reading seemed to flow much more. On the other hand it wasn't quite as interesting as the first two books.
'Richard holds long speeches and wants to conquer the world... when did this start and what did I miss?' That's a thought I had not very far into the book. There was some nice humor with Gratch, the gar, and with the Mord-Sith, but all in all, not my favorite.
