bookshelves: own-ab, boring, ya

This book was fairly simple and predictable with cliche characters who showed little or no development. The concept of the pyramid etc.. is interesting, and I kept reading to get some answers, even though most of the mysteries were left unanswered. I thought it strange how little a part Kady played. She pretty much did nothing. She stayed the same, boring cheerleader throughout the book. It was sort of fluffy. Sure, people died, but I felt no emotion whatsoever. It's a quick fun read, but nothing special.
