This manga series is part revenge story, part redemption story and part political intrigue story set in feudal Japan. Lots of ronin and ninja types chopping each other up (puts another meaning to graphic literature). The main character, Manji, was a cynical, badass swordsman for hire before an ancient sorceress nun causes him to become immortal. This is viewed as a curse by Manji. A curse that will only be lifted if Manji kills one thousand evil men...
