Did you know that only five people -- that's right, five -- have been killed by bears in Yellowstone National Park since its formation in 1872. When we hiked into Yellowstone recently, the number one concern of many people was bears. Actually, you're just as likely to get killed by lightening, and you're much, much more likely to die by drowning in a lake in a small boat and most likely to die in a car wreck. Interesting fact checking against emotional reactions.
