Occaisionally, it delved a little too deep into Marvel history for a casual reader like myself, but nothing that prevented me from following the story. I greatly enjoyed the pathos put into this story, especially in the "awakening" sequences. Spider-Man is too often used as the vocal emotional superhero, but he was used here perfectly. I've also never seen the X-Men and the Avengers rub shoulders so realistically, each team reacting like the different groups that they are. Overall, not bad for a Marvel big event.
