Read in March, 2007

I hadn't read a mystery in years and years, having so thoroughly overdosed on them as a kid (thanks, Enid Blyton! still love you!) that I was sated for a couple of decades. But Agatha may have put me back on the mystery trail. Perhaps predictably, given her reputation, this was fantastic -- clever, well written (as opposed to simply having a gripping plot), genuinely confounding (or maybe I'm just slow), and much funnier than I was expecting.
