really liked it

I was introduced to this series because I met the author, Michelle Scott, at a writer's conference. She's a great lady and I figured I would enjoy her books. Turns out I was right.

Nikki Sands, would-be actress, is at a dead in in Hollywood but fate intervenes and lands her a great job at a gorgeous winery in Napa Valley. The upside is that her boss is a hunk and very interested. The downside is that on her first day she stumbles on the dead winemaker.

She's not a investigator but she played one on TV, so to help out her boss and satisfy her own avid curiousity, she decides to solve the murder herself.

It's a fun and light-hearted read with an interesting group of characters in a beautiful setting. She even puts in some good wine/food pairings and yummy recipes!
