really liked it
Read in September, 2009

One of two medieval works referenced in "Terra Nostra" by C. Fuentes. I got it through the excellent Link+ interlibrary loan system. Unlike the other title (Don Juan, the play), this one is charming and a pleasure to read. Naughty and snarky in an Ovidian kind of way, I can see how this was the biggest underground hit of its day. Excellent translation into English verse by Elisha Kane.

jen Isn't Link+ the greatest? Previously I had pretty much given up on finding more obscure titles, but now I can find most books I want on through the system.

Stuart yeah it's great -- I am a huge fan now.
