John Dodge buys small businesses that are failing and uses his magic touch to get them up, running, and successful....then he moves on. He never spends more than 2 years in a spot. Why is that? Julia who came to this small southern town five years ago, runs a Linens Shop and keeps to herself, which is very hard to do in a town where everyone knows everyone and all of their business. Set in the South, filled with local flavor and customs, this is a fun read. This book actually touches on some interesting topics and has great characters, which takes it out of the "chick lit" category into something more.
