Sarah 10/5: Just finished the first novel, A Study In Scarlet. Aside from the historical and geographical inaccuracies (Conan Doyle, like most Europeans in the time, believed the land from the Mississippi to the Rockies was totally inhabitable and embellished a bit when describing the Mormons), it was a really well-written mystery. My favourite (had to use the English spelling in honour of Conan Doyle) part of any Sherlock Holmes is the reveal, when Holmes explains to Watson how he figured it out.
