I'm glad I listened to this book as opposed to reading it. I agree with previous reviews that it's slow moving, but I actually enjoyed that since I was listening to it. I'm disappointed Taylor didn't extend further into Laverty's career. This is the third book in the series, and only about 6 months from where the first series started. I'd like to see how Laverty is adapting and how he's changed, grown, etc over a couple of years. I wouldn't mind even if Taylor just skipped a couple of years and caught us up in the first chapter.
