it was amazing

It sometimes seems like some crime fiction writers only care about the plot, the crime, how it is solved - not the characters, they would just put the standard policeman character in it an that's it... Well, not in Larsson's trilogy. It's more about the characters than about the plot. Ex-soviet spies, secret cells inside a secret agency, murder suspects being kept in unsupervised hospital rooms... yes, sometimes it's too much, but there comes a point when you simply don't care anymore. It's so well-written and the characters so intriguing, that you just "relax and enjoy" it, accepting the fact that it's just fiction, and whether or not this or that hacking program really exists is not crucial afterall.
