This is a wonderful book about the discovery and reconstruction of one of the two ships buried near the pyramid of Cheops for his voyages in the afterlife. The illustrations are drawn to look like Egyptian art painted on tomb walls. What I found most fascinating was the description of how Ahmed Youssef Moustafa learned how to reconstruct the ship. It amazes me that the ship was SEWN together! The only thing I would like to have seen in the book was a few photos of the ship in pieces and later after reconstruction. Aside from that, this was an excellent book.
