This book is about animals consisting of mice, foxes, rats, squirrels and other animals you would probably find in the woodlands. THe good creatures are mice, badgers, rabbits and squirrels. The bad ones are rats, foxes and weasels. There are many more on each side but these are one of the primary ones.

The books starts out with a young mice named Matthais in a abbey called Redwall. He had no family, but was cared by the people of Redwall. Suddenley, the thing that popped this peaceful life was a band of rats lead by their feared leader in many areas Clooney the Scourage. With this threat. Matthais must take on a quest to find the sword of Martin Warrior (founder of Redwall) and lead the peaceful creatures in the Abbey into battle...

When reading this book, I learned things such as description and how the characters changes over time. It is probably because it is a whole story of one character, but what made it interesting is because it protrays non- human creatures who show some qualities of human beings and how they react. One thing i could learn form this especially for Writing Arts class is it descrition. Descritive writing could make stories look interesting you know.
