it was amazing

A child dies.
The mother struggles with finding the hit-and-run driver and moving on with her life.

The therapist struggles with a new marriage, a teenage son, and a past that haunts her.

Although I guessed the "surprise" ending just a few chapters in, it still held my attention throughout. The two women narrators are flawed and deeply wounded. It was very hard to read at times as the emotions were very true to life.

Well written. I look forward to more books by Lynne Griffin.
