This book was pretty decent. I almost gave it 4 stars, but then looked back and realized I gave The Firm 4 stars. I didn't think this book went quite as much in depth or had as much development as The Firm so I have to go with 3.

This was a really quick read, and I enjoyed that since I have a ton of books to get through. However, there was very little character development and not much of a story. It reminded me a little of Joseph Finder's Paranoia. While I think Grisham is a better writer than Finder, this book didn't quite come through.

I did like the way the book ended, but I think most of Grisham's books end pretty happily. I'll probably read another one of his when I can pick one up from the library. While they're pretty good reads, they're not worth buying in my opinion.
