I enjoyed this a lot more compared to Long's last book, so that was definitely a good start.
The premise for Chase and Rosaline's ensuing tension (it's been a few years, rather) is unique, and quite well explored. Or dare I say it, very well "explored" thereafter. (It's a love triangle. I'll leave it at that.) The mystery featuring Rosaline's missing sister is lazy, but when you've got this much palpable chemistry happening between the leads, you're more likely to forgive that "little" shortcoming.
Long's writing is refreshing, and I don't think I cringed at that many points compared with my reactions to other authors, so this was a jolly read indeed.
