really liked it
bookshelves: mystery
Read in August, 2009

Egaging thriller set in early cold war Soviet Union. Though I'm no expert on the era, author went to great pains to research and ensure the authenticity of the story as well as the lives of the people involved. Based on an actual Soviet serial killer, there much more psychological and emotional acton than the typical thriller.
